The BELIMO SRFA-R & SRFA-S2-R electric spring return actuators are designed for quarter-turn applications on ball and butterfly valves with bases to ISO 5211 DIN 3337 standard. In the normal power supply condition, the actuator is operated by the motor, meanwhile the spring stores energy. On loss of power, the spring releases the energy to drive the actuator and return it to the safe position of either fully open or closed.
